React/Preact Support in Hummingbird
« on: July 12, 2018, 07:44:11 PM »
I was wondering about the state of react/preact support in Hummingbird. I have been prototyping my app in React, I'm a full time react developer so it's what I know and I'd love to know the status of react/preact support in hummingbird. I haven't yet tried just throwing a built preact app at hummingbird I just thought I'd reach out to see if there were docs I was missing.

Hi drwicked,

Indeed, we do see a lot of sense on supporting such frameworks and are working on it. Currently, the core libraries of Preact, jQuery, and React (with HB 1.12 - coming out very soon) are supported in Hummingbird.

As you are very well aware, those are rich frameworks with a lot of plugins and we are cherry picking which ones to support. If you have anything specific in mind or you'd want to share details on your use case, please shoot an email to support@coherent-labs.com and we can take it from there!
