WebRTC in Unity3D
« on: February 08, 2016, 07:45:15 AM »
Hello,

We have a lot of questions regarding WebRTC and use with Coherent Browser. Here you will be able to access a summary of the question and responses, so that you use WebRTC effortlessly.

About the functionality of our WebRTC version you can see the results from the DetectRTC.js as an attachment.

From version 2.6.2.0 we support OpenTok, as well as other implementations of WebRTC. You can test it with OpenTokRTC or  AppRTC :)

Sample implementation of WebRTC is available here. You just have to copy this code in a new script and attach it to an object with a View component.

Currently it is not possible to use getUserMedia, as it is implemented in a part of the Chrome code that we are not using.

When using WebRTC make sure that no other process is using your video and audio input devices.

Coherent and WebRTC allow for real time in-game communication or pure social applications.

Regards,
John
